I just use a wad of paper towels in a tin can for oil filter -- real cost savings!

I get used deep fry oil from the local burger joint.

Bill be careful using oil from McD's.  If you don't strain it at least 17 times before putting it into your baby, the McFrench fries chunks might result in the HDL level increasing and cause your baby's timing belt to slip a McGear.
