News: "We ride because we see long lines of cars and trucks, creeping along toward another day, a crummy one just like yesterday. We ride by, glance into those cars and trucks and can't imagine being one of THEM, when we could be, we ARE, one of us." - Maynard Hershon, Citybike, 9/05

A message went out yesterday evening informing us that Lois Robinson, wife of Mike, was killed in an auto accident. She apparently was in the rear seat, the car was involved in a head on collision and her Aorta got torn.
Please keep her and Mike in your prayers.

This is terrible news. Wow, first Russ, then Lois. How awful.

Lois was a big part in PIF's and the HWG. I feel so bad for Mike. She was his connection to us, as Mike isn't a poster, but is aways with us.
She will be missed.

You did good with Russ's, you up for it again? I'll send another check.

We actually collected quite a bit more than we needed for Russ' flowers (the extra is in the PIF fund).

I really don't see a problem with using some of that for flowers here, it would be the same group of people donating anyway.

So --

Unless there is an overwhelming cry to NOT use the funds we already have, I will arrange for flowers later in the week.
