I have not been out for a ride yet this year.
I am getting a little grumpy - it's my own fault -
The weather has been marginal and my effort to get the bike out has been nil..
Spring is ..TODAY .. and it's 28 degrees outside ..  pdls

The same on this side of the Lake ---- AND windy.    I was out last Sat for a little ride around town---42F and sunny.   Still pretty cool without Gerbing's.

I got to go for a ride Sunday and today we’re getting 4”-6” of snow. Spring is here but mother nature’s playing games with us.

If I was healthy it was dry enough  the last couple of weeks to get a nice ride in .

Mostly the weather has been cooler but my Gerbings and Wrap Chaps would have taken care of that  Wink

Pathetic as it was I did ride about 10 miles on Saturday,  it was 50 degrees,  I  spent time searching for a antifreeze leak, found none.  Added fresh antifreeze,  about a 1/2 to 3/4 of a cup. Since then no new antifreeze on the ground,  a good friend just thinks it was a bad year of typical 1500 antifreeze normal leaking over winter.  It has leaked some every winter since I bought the bike. Anyways,  more snow predicted for Friday -Saturday,  6", yuck!

If I had a 4 wheel drive I might have a chance. Access to my bike is through an alley that got dug for natural gas twice, sewer twice, and fiber optic. Plus the snow we had last week and the 5-9" predicted for tomorrow and Saturday. If and when it dries I can get the bike out pdls

Heck.... even I've been on several rides so far this year....

What are you waiting for green grass and 50 degrees with blue skies?

Two wheels are more therapy than transportation

It's June 15 here and the bike has not been out of the garage since December.  Doc says Sept or maybe Oct before I can ride the 2 wheels.  I've snuck (sneaked for you sophisticated types) in a couple of short rides on the trike but that isn't nearly as satisfying.
