The fear mongering is killing me. They don't have a clue what it's going to do after it hits the coast (days from now), they admit they don't know, but still scream.

We already have fuel shortages here on the west coast because one of them is telling folks to top off the tank EVERY DAY because the east coasters are going to evacuate to here (and take all of YOUR gasoline!)

No joke. Believe it was radio as that is her primary source of news.

Here is to the new track, further east would even be better.
The morning news showed state troopers escorting fuel tankers delivering to stations that had run low or out of fuel. Thinking if they didn't need escorts two weeks ago why now? It may be? because of what LadyWingr said about the situation.

Dorian is just now reaching Cat 5 strength.

This monster now maybe looks like it will skirt the Outer Banks as it heads back out into the Atlantic?

Extremely slow mover though, as it doesn't even get to the Outer Banks until next Friday, so the country can't relax yet ... anything could happen and probably will.

And authorized. And if it was on Twitter, it has to be true.

I hear hotels in Polk county are filling up. Of course, Polk is the furthest west still in the cone of doom. That's the county I'd pick. smh

One if our weather forecasters said think of it as an EF-3 tornado just staying in your area and not moving on, at one time EF-4

I think that guidance chart is the office pool.

Al, I think that one is a beta model of some sort. I've seen references to it and that it is a throwaway.
