Well, my right arm anyway. Sept 9 I'm getting a 3 for 1 surgery. Carpal tunnel, trigger finger, and ulnar nerve. So tired of a numb tingling arm, and a finger that feels broken. The carpal tunnel is the least of the pain. It will be nice to sleep again too.

Good on you Greg, it's about time to get it done. It seems you picked a good time to do it since riding season is about over.

This has been a pitiful riding year for me. I hope my bike isn't too pissed at me.

Yep, the carpal tunnel is a piece of cake. I don't know about the other stuff. Thank God for cruise on the Wing because a couple of years ago my right hand would go numb very easily.

It went pretty well. Got home about 11:30 Monday and my right arm was completely numb until right before bed Tuesday. This morning I have full movement and mild pain. Not bad at all. The palm scar is for carpal tunnel, the hand under pinky for trigger finger, and the elbow for the Ulnar nerve.

Neat! Three new zippers! Now behave and heal fast. I forgot about my trigger finger surgery and tried to clap a mosquito out of the air. I remembered very quickly about it.

There’s a very simple test they do called an EMG. It’s fun. You get tased in the arm multiple times to test your nerve and muscle response.

In this video they cut out a lot of zap time. You'll see his reaction in his hand. Once they crank it up good you'll be jumping out of the chair. I didn't have to wear a gown or lay in a bed for this test. Just sat in a chair.

We had just started getting stun guns when I retired, tasers weren't even in the pipeline. One of our more "macho" guys volunteered to be a test subject. Still don't know how he concealed his tears when it knocked him across the driveway.

Q. "How do I prepare for this procedure?"
A. If you have a buddy on the Police force, have him tase you!

EMG
I've had two.... that's enough.
Both caused additional pain when they did the carpal tunnel surgery.

I had one done back in 91 and I felt like Frankenstein's monster. Mine turned out to be a ruptured disc in the cervical spine. I swore I'd never do it again but I may have to.

I’m very pleased with the results. No more locking finger, wrist pain, and a numbing arm.

Hick. that nerve is the surgery my daughter just had done. They moved the nerve to the front side of the elbow and pit it under the muscle. She is recovery, but still will have some pain for 2 to 3 months.
